Why
pay for my site, or another site when you can get
material for free in the groups below? That 'free'
material, comes from somewhere, usually pay
sites. Without -some- paying members, we
couldn't survive. I love yahoo groups, but
respect copyrights, don't distribute material that
cost us or others time and money to produce.
This site, like many, is run at home, by a couple
interested in the subject matter. Currently we
operate at cost, after three years, we're breaking
even. So what? So if you put the people
who make the content out of business, there will be
less stuff for 'free' circulating in yahoo
groups. It's like borrowing a book from a
friend whose done with it, your friend originally
paid for that book. If you appreciate the
author, buy your own copy, and keep him/her in
business. If you really can't afford to pay
something, occasionally, to any sites, then borrow
respectfully. But give thought to economics
and the law of supply and demand. If you do
join a site occasionally now and again, ours or
anyone else's site, you contribute to the
continuation of creation of the material you
enjoy. I'd encourage you to seek out the
sources of your favorite images, visit their home
sites, and even if you don't become a regular
subscriber, join on occasion, and support the stuff
you love. Vote with your cash. I've recently
had a friend have to shut down her pay site, because
they were losing money on it - they were making
brilliant one of a kind foot fetish material, some
of the best I've seen. Unfortunately, a few
pirates had distributed their content, and password
traded, and essentially when people could get it for
'free' no one paid for it. People loved it, and
subsequently, raped it dry. Use yahoo groups
responsibly, and enjoy the links! (I spend about 5
hours a week on updating them, and I don't charge
you a dime!)
